Into VIX Nov 20 '13 $22 Calls @ $1.85...
If the VIX closes above $23.85, then this trade will breakeven...
No one thinks that a US default could happen, but if the shutdown drags on for another few days, more nerves will start to get rattled, which should be good for the VIX...
If the VIX can't even go up during this showdown, when will it ever go up?
