Pump It Up, Buttercup!
Whoa... An Economiss @ Nordstrom... perhaps my JWN puts will skyrocket tomorrow? JWN reported weaker than expected topline, but stronger than expected EPS during Extended Hours Trading. A sell-off is occurring as we speak, but not sure how the market will react tomorrow.
So far, I'm hearting the market again. If only every trading day could be so profitable - and if only the lightbulb will stay on!
I took profits on a number of positions and still ended up with daily gains on both the SBA and Roth IRA even as a very intermittent wifi connection keeps me from watching Maria & Bill without experiencing inter-inter-inter-ruptions.
As I was playing the momentum on the SPY and SPXU, I missed an opportunity to get out of my GOOG $845 puts profitably by just a hair. My E*Trade platform shows the day's high @ $1.29 on that issue, but I'm not sure if it actually occurred as sometimes E*Trade's pricing is inaccurate.
Even my SLV calls went up a tonne - and these were close to worthless!
Now this is how a portfolio's supposed to behave and if I can only figure out how to do this everyday...
