Finally, Harrods emailed me back with pricing on the Montblanc Etoile Mysterieuse. It's available in a fountain pen and a rollerball. Both are £ 8,000 each - so about $13,095 USD. Small price to pay for perfection, huh?
This is obviously not a matter of need... it's a matter of want!
I will have to do either a lot of saving or a lot of good trading!
